Originaly patented in 2016 and known as The Denton Lock this clever little device is designed to not only give a visual indication of a hazard below the cover, but also needs the positive action of removal before the cover can be lifted.

As with all of our devices our Inspection Cover Markers are electonically enabled and allow access to Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Site Plans and detailed operational instructions by simply tapping a mobile phone against the marker. Documents and information become instantly accessable and can be downloaded direct to the users device.

They can also be used to log people into or out of a chamber, as they record the date and time that each user has actvated the Inspection Cover Marker.

Uses

Our Inspection Cover Markers are designed to be used on any cover that uses a standard lifting key. The markers clever design allows them to securely lock into the keyway of the cover, and so can be used on any Water, Wastewater, Gas, Power, or Telecoms chamber. The markers are made from stainless steel and hardwearing Acrylonitrile-Styrene-Acrylate (ASA) which is a highly durable thermoplastic that is UV resistant. For covers that don't have a keyway we have also developed a small marker that can be bonded to the surface.
